My kitty has Feline Hyperaesthesia. (Sensitive to petting, skin rippling along the spine, pupil dilation, and frantic grooming tail chasing.) His orignal prescribed meds were so strong, he was disoriented and he just slept all the time. So after discussing with my vet, I decided to switch him over to a daily dose of of this CBD oil in his wet food. I noticed results in the first three weeks. He was much calmer, he liked pets on his back again and he just seemed so much happier. I started with the lower dose just once a day as he is small and senior. It was a great first step. Now we've bumped to the higher dose once a day, which seems to last the full day. I warm the oil in a hot water bath and stir it into his breakfast wet food. Started with the 250mg and now am on the 500mg to reduce the amount of oil given daily. She didn't take it well just given by itself, so I had to resort to mixing it into her wet food once daily. She's back to jumping up on the furniture and no longer limping as much and seems happier overall. I have tried everything, including a visit to the vet for testing to rule out any medical issues. Everything was fine.
