BMW FEM / BDC Repair The BDC (Body domain Controller) or FEM (Front Electronic Module) is responsible for the immobilizer function, and many cabin controls (HVAC, power mirros, locking/unlocking, window opening and closing, as well as vehicle interior lights and headlights. Clone or Repair Recovery Service If your BDC / FEM has stopped working during programming or diagnostics or while trying to add a new immobilizer key then there is a high chance we can repair your unit and recover all orignal data. If your BDC / FEM has physical or corrosion damage then the best course of action may be to replace with a known good working unit (which you provide). You would need to mail us the BDC / FEM and any working keys. If you have no working keys you will need to send in the engine computer (DME) as well. Please note that units with extensive water damage are unlikely to be serviceable. Failed BDC / FEM Problem The main reason for failed FEM and BDCs we have seen is key add attempts with cheap tools which kill the module. Another reason is flooding or physical damage.  Solution to Recover BDC / FEM We will attempt to recover your BDC / FEM and if not possible we will match your DME and key data to a new donor module (separate).
