Description In 1978, the American brand UGG made its debut in Southern California. It was created by Australian surfer Brian Smith and his partner Doug Jensen to provide Americans access to the warm sheepskin boots that were popular in Australia. Since then, the company has changed the fashion of comfortable shoes and replaced petroleum-based EVA with sustainable materials like rain-grown sugarcane. The white and sand checkered laces, made of recyclable materials, provide even more appeal to the shoe’s monochromatic appearance. The UGG logo is displayed on the outside of the tongue and heel.
